Sad News: Dr. Madan Mohan Gupta It is with the saddest regret we announce that Dr. Madan Mohan Gupta passed away peacefully with his loving family beside him on November 8, 2021. Dr. Gupta was the founding member of the Hindu Society of Saskatchewan. Dr. Madan Gupta was a great asset to the community and will be dearly missed. A tremendous loss for the community. The Gupta family is holding a private funeral service. Our condolences and prayers with Dr. Gupta's family during this difficult time.

Reflection on Hinduism: Thursday, November 25th, 2021 from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Temple, Dr Punam Pahwa will do Reflections on Hinduism lecture about Yoga. That's part one of the three series lectures on yoga. Please come and support this HSS traditional lecture series.

Part II: Pratyahara and Dharana ( Ms Neeru Kavia) Yoga Philosophy

Part III: Dhyana and Samadhi ( Shri Dinesh Yadav). 

Dr Pahwa  is a long time devotee and enthusiastic yoga instructor at our Shri Lakshmi Narayan Temple. Let's show our appreciation by attending this wonderful lecture virtually on the Zoom link provided above.

Sunday Temple Worship and Mahaprasad: Regular Sunday Temple Worship (10:30 AM to 12:30 PM).  Every Sunday, Mahaprasadam is sponsored by devotees for Bhog to Shri Lakshmi Narayan ji & then Mahaprasadam to all devotees present. Our thanks go to Karan & Neelam Singh from Angheeti and Taj Mahal restaurants for preparing Mahaprasadam this Sunday November 14th, 2021. If any other devotees are interested to sponsor blessed Mahaprasadam on Sundays for approximately 80 devotees, please contact us. We have a sign up board by Geeta Bhawan main doors for 2022 Mahaprasadam on Sundays. Your contribution will be greatly appreciated!

Daily Temple Opening:  Temple will be open for Darshan always during the week from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m., in addition; we have some activities planned as well depending on the availability of the coordinators and speakers on that specific day.  If you want to help the board in any capacity to make this project successful, please contact us.

‌	We, as the HSS Board, are here to serve you better and aim to foster the spirit of  community friendship, peace and devotion to Lord Lakshmi Narayan.  For any information, please contact Vishal Jheengut @ 306-260-7165.
As a place of worship we strictly follow provincial health guidelines.  Mask (Face covering) is required  for all when attending Temple services.  For the health and safety of our youngsters who are yet not eligible for vaccination.     We urge and encourage vaccinated devotees to attend temple services and private events.  PLEASE DO NOT VISIT TEMPLE IF YOU HAVE ANY FLU LIKE SYMPTOMS.
