Shri Lakshmi Narayan Temple - Announcement

1. Reflection of Hinduism talk: When: on Thursday Aug 25th at  7:00 PM Thursday by Dr. Narendara Bakhshi  Topic: "Prescription for Success: Bhagwat Geeta Shows The Way".  Venue: Online Zoom meeting. Please attend with your families and support this important Hinduism lecture!
   
2. Mahaprasadam: Giving is gaining - On the occasion of Shri Krishna Janamastami, our sincere thanks to Samway Grill (for mahaprasadm food) serving blessed Mahaprasadam to the enitre congregation on August 21. Special thanks to devotee Pruthvi Lakadwala from Hakka Express for continuously providing delicious motichoor ladoos for prasad distribution. Next Sunday, August 28th, 2022 Mahaprasadam is sponsored by devotee Pragnesh Patel & family. If you would like to sponsor Mahaprasadam on Sundays to celebrate your special occasion with the congregation after prayers for 130 devotees and/or donate groceries from the Temple list provided, please click here for project details.
3. Shri Krishna Janmashtami 2022: We celebrated Krishna's birthday melodiously on Thursday August 18th and Sunday August 21st.

6. Darshan Fund: A fundraiser for temple accessibility and to hire a priest/purohit. All devotees who sign up will get access to the Temple for darshan on their own time with a proximity card just like going to the gym on your own time.  In addition to all the benefits, for $20/month, you will be actively promoting Hinduism in Saskatoon! details
7. Daily Arati Project Sign up: Daily Arati is customary for Hindus when prayers are done at home and temple. The temple is now open everyday (Mon - Fri 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Saturdays 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m and 7:00pm to 8:00pm, Sundays 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 pm). The board has started a daily Arati project and is a very special and unique opportunity for the community at large to participate. Devotees who are interested to do Arati at Temple during the week to please contact the board and we will add you to "Temple Arati Project" What's App group for instant sign up on a particular day. Please provide your name and phone number to be added in the group.
