- Reflection of Hinduism talk: When: on Thursday September 29th at 7:00 PM by Shri Kumar Balachandran Topic: "Gita Vishvaroopa Darshan". Venue: Online Zoom meeting. Please attend with your families and support this important Hinduism lecture! Thank you Kumarji!!.
- Durga Puja Celebration on Saturday, October 1st 2022, starting 10:00 AM at Temple: On behalf of the Saskatoon Durga Puja Celebration Committee (SDPCC) and HSS, Durga Puja will be celebrated at Shri Lakshmi Narayan Temple.
- Program Details: 10:00 am: Puja * 11:30 am: Pushpanjali * 12:00 noon - Bhog, Arati, and songs * 12:30 pm - Packed lunch Prasad distribution *7:00 pm - Arati and Prayer *7:30 pm - Cultural program * 9:00 pm - Packed light refreshments
- Yoga: Please attend and enjoy the benefit of Yoga. Yoga is brought free for all every Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Temple by our qualified instructors. - October is festive celebration month (Navratri, Durga Pooja, Dussehra, Mata Ki Chauki, Karva Chauth, Diwali)

- Navratri Kolu puja starts on Monday, September 26th at 6:00 p.m. followed by 10 days of daily Arati. Puja will be conducted by Dr Suresh Kalagnanam.
- Dussehra on Oct 4th at 7:00 pm after regular opening day Arati at 6:45 p.m.
- Mata Ki Chauki on Oct 7th between 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. by our famous singer Shri Bharat Sharma. It’s a must-participate event and free to everyone. If you are interested, optional sponsorship of $31 is available.
- Karwa Chauth puja on Oct 12th will be at 4:00 p.m. and then again at 5:00 p.m. (Oct 11: Mehndi Night at 7:00 pm). Please contact Meenu Sharma raimeenu7@gmail.com for details.
- Diwali & Lakshmi Puja 2022: Lakshmi puja will be celebrated on Sunday October 30th 2022 10:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. Puja will be conducted by Dr Suresh Kalagnanam.Sponsorship is $51/family and all devotees who sponsored will receive a gift and a Temple Calendar. Payment can be made by e-transfer at donate@slntemple.ca or donate online at https://www.slntemple.ca/. Please indicate "Lakshmi Puja 2022" when sponsoring/donating. Diwali Day is on Monday, October 24th 2022 from 3:00 p..m.-9:00 p.m (more details to follow).
- Mahaprasadam: Giving is gaining - Our sincere thanks to our Dr Kulwant & Janak Rai for sponsoring and serving blessed Mahaprasadam to the congregation on Sunday September 18th, 2022. Special thanks to devotee Pruthvi Lakadwala from Hakka Express for continuously providing delicious motichoor ladoos for prasad distribution. Next Sunday, September 25th , 2022 Mahaprasadam will be sponsored by Krishna Khandel & family. If you would like to sponsor Mahaprasadam on Sundays to celebrate your special occasion with the congregation after prayers for approximately 130 devotees and/or donate groceries from the Temple list provided, please click here for project details.
- Rudrabishekam (Every Monday): Abishekam is conducted by Balaji every Monday except the first Monday of the month. Everyone is invited to participate. Normally we have one sponsor every Monday and sponsorship is $51 to do puja by the altar. - Darshan Card - "Your Spiritual Key - Your Contribution to Hinduism Future": A fundraiser for temple accessibility and to hire a priest/purohit. All devotees who sign up will get access to the Temple for darshan on their own time with a proximity card just like going to the gym on your own time. In addition to all the benefits, for only 0.65 cents/day or $20/month, you will be actively promoting Hinduism in Saskatoon!! details
- Daily Arati Project Sign up: Daily Arati is customary for Hindus when prayers are done at home and temple. The temple is now open everyday (Mon - Fri 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Saturdays 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sundays 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.). The board has started a daily Arati project and is a very special and unique opportunity for the community at large to participate. Devotees who are interested to do Arati at Temple during the week to please contact the board and we will add you to "Temple Arati Project" What's App group for instant sign up on a particular day. Please provide your name and phone number to be added to the group.
