3. Temple Donor
Recognition / plaque committee: HSS serving Shri Lakshmi Narayan
Temple and other related activities, is a Volunteer run organization and solely
operate on kind donations and volunteer support. Are you interested
in serving on the Temple Donor Recognition/plaque Committee? If so, please send
us an email at hindusocietyofsaskatchewan@gmail.com.
Some devotees expects the temple to keep the plaque as recognition of their
monetary donations over the decades, as encouragement to others to do the same.
While other devotees have reasoning that the devotion, essence & purity of
the gift of volunteering for those who served for decades and those still
serving the Temple is/will be defeated as the plaque only recognize monetary
donations. The committee will bring their findings to AGM and a decision
will be made then about plaques management and a long term sustainable method
of Donor and Volunteer recognition. Please join the discussion and provide your
inputs!
